Hello! Since we may have more hot weather coming, remember the soil around your berry plants should be moist at least four inches below the surface. Also, we recommend removing the green berries from newly transplanted plants and disposing of them in the trash to prevent possible mushrooms leading to mummy berry fungus. (You may want to keep some berries, but removing most of them allows the plants to put energy toward root establishment rather than producing and ripening berries.)

After 25 or so years of harvesting and selling the best blueberries on the planet, we are saying goodbye to the plants and to the customers we've enjoyed for so long. From having 30 employees to pick, pack and deliver our berries, to U-Pick only, it's been an adventure and an honor. Although transitioning to a hayfield will mean infinitely less work, we will miss the people who have enriched our lives each summer. We will be closing our blueberry business after that.
