Opening Monday, July 22 from 9-1:00, or as long as ripe berries last

The berries are nearly ready, and we plan to start our 2019 U-Pick season on Monday, July 22 from 9 to 1:00, or until we run out of ripe berries. Although three of our varieties (Reka, Spartan and Duke) have been ripening for a couple of weeks, the Blue Crops (our main variety) are finally catching up, so that you should be able to enjoy delicious fruit from anywhere in the field. For our certified organic blueberries, we ask $2.85 per pound.

Getting Ready for 2019 Blueberry Season!

Hello! Summer is here, and we are looking forward to another excellent blueberry season. The plants survived the snow (with a little help, as we experienced some excellent aerobic workouts, sweeping all of them off...twice). They now look healthy and are almost ready to offer their delicious fruits to you. We will open as soon as we have enough ripe fruit for pleasant picking, which should be within the next few weeks. As always, the weather is a huge factor in determining our U-Pick days; blueberries need heat to ripen.

Happy New Year and Thank you!

Happy New Year 2019! We had a wonderful, low-key Christmas with family, and are now working on organizing various things around the farm and in our home. Dave has been keeping up with the weeds; he and Janel finished the pruning; and feeding, mulching, tilling and other projects will continue through the winter and spring.
